Position Overview:

The Principal Security Consultant will take a leadership role in delivering outcomes across a wide range of global clients. This will be accomplished by engaging with customer leadership to define priorities and outcomes for engagements, expanding the capabilities and offerings of the practice and delivering on consulting engagements in a leadership capacity.

The Solutions organization is seeking a Principal Security Consultant with a strong background in the financial services industry including bank regulatory processes, controls, testing and compliance. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping organizations in the financial sector develop and maintain a compliant cyber security strategy, program, capabilities and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Bank Regulatory Experience

• Stay abreast of evolving bank regulatory requirements and ensure the organization s security practices align with industry standards.
• Provide expert guidance on compliance with bank regulations, including but not limited to risk management, cloud and data governance, and cyber security.

Cybersecurity Strategy and Program Development

• Stay current with leading cyber frameworks and regulations (globally).
• Assist clients with defining, designing, developing and maintaining cyber programs and capabilities.

Control and Testing

• Develop, implement, and access security controls to safeguard the organization s assets and information.
• Conduct thorough security testing, and assessments, and create automation around testing controls.

Assessments

• Lead and support security and risk assessments.
• Ensure the organization s readiness for regulatory examinations, coordinating preparation efforts across departments.

Customer Focus:

• Understand customer needs and design solutions that solve their needs-short and long term.

Creative Solutioning:

• Understand customer problems and develop new solutions that are most effective and differentiated from our competitors.

Strategic Client Relationship Management:

• Use a strategic approach to managing customer interactions and data throughout the customer journey with a goal of higher business growth through better customer experiences

Commercial Success:

• Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.

End to End Solution Management/Delivery

• Builds strong customer relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions.

Practice Development

• Develop and lead services and solutions supporting the Governance, strategy and risk management cyber practice.
• Support sales efforts regarding scope and SOW writing.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity and consulting
• Ability to perform concurrent tasks in complex environments under adjusting priorities
• Ability to communicate and modify approach, language, and style to different audiences
• Demonstrated experience in operations management, including optimizing processes, implementing efficiencies, and driving continuous improvement.
• Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development and execution of integrated technology solutions at scale. Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to align strategies with business goals.
• Proficiency in analyzing data, creating reports, and providing valuable insights and actions. Strong attention to detail and ensuring financial accuracy in opportunity representation.
• Professional writing style and experience with demonstrable technical and business-related artifacts is required
• Collaborative, with the ability to manage conflicting interests and deal with ambiguity.
• Effective communication skills: capable of supporting presentations to convey concepts and solutions, writing effective emails, and discussing strategy with senior executives.
• Strong teamwork qualities: able to gain the trust of customers and collaborate effectively within the WWT team.
• Intellectually curious with a desire to understand constantly evolving technology solutions.
• Proactive, collaborative, with emotional intelligence, and the capacity to learn and synthesize new information.
• Adaptable, with the ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-directed, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
• 10-plus years of cybersecurity experience with one or more of the following: background as a practitioner, or industry facing consultant.
