Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Architect with a strong background in design, architecture, as well as customizations & configurations. As a Microsoft Dynamics Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, customizing, configuring, & optimizing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (v.9) platform to meet the unique business requirements of our team. You will work closely with the CRM project team, end-users, and stakeholders to understand their needs and implement effective solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Lead end-to-end solution design for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, ensuring scalability, performance, and integration readiness.
  • Define technical and functional architecture for new and existing implementations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Platform Configuration & Customization

  • Guide the implementation of standard and custom entities, workflows, plugins, Power Automate flows, and model-driven apps.
  • Oversee the use of Dynamics 365 customization tools, including JavaScript, Power Apps, and Power Platform tools.

Integration & Data Strategy

  • Design integrations with other business systems (ERP, marketing, third-party platforms) using Azure services, APIs, and middleware tools.
  • Define data migration, synchronization, and master data strategies.

Governance & Best Practices

  • Establish development standards, documentation practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Promote consistency, code reusability, and security compliance across all CRM projects.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Serve as a technical mentor for Dynamics developers and consultants.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and IT stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM/D365 CE/Sales.
  • 3+ years in an architectural or senior technical leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (v.9), including configuration capabilities and features.
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, FetchXML, and Web APIs.
  • Strong experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, delivering high-quality results within deadlines.

Preferred

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
