Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Oracle Cloud SCM Consultant with deep expertise in Inventory and Logistics modules. The ideal candidate will lead Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) implementations, manage key stakeholder relationships, and provide end-to-end functional leadership for inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and logistics operations.

This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud SCM capabilities, supply chain processes, and best practices to optimize material flow, fulfilment, and logistics efficiency across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Oracle Cloud SCM implementations, enhancements, and rollouts focused on Inventory and Logistics.
  • Serve as the functional lead and SME for modules including Inventory Management (INV), Shipping Execution, Receiving, Warehouse Operations, Supply Chain Orchestration (SCO), Product Information Management (PIM), Logistics and Transportation Management (OTM) (if integrated)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, map business processes, and design scalable Oracle SCM Cloud solutions.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis, develop functional design documents (FDDs), and prepare configuration workbooks.
  • Configure Oracle Cloud SCM modules to support business needs, including inventory transactions, lot/serial tracking, and inter-org transfers.
  • Support shipping, delivery, and fulfilment processes integrated with Order Management and Procurement.
  • Lead data migration, FBDI/ADFDI uploads, and data validation for inventory items, sub inventories, and stock balances.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Manufacturing, Order Management, Finance) to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Manage testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and facilitate user training and change management activities.
  • Provide post-production support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, controls, and audit requirements related to material movement and inventory valuation.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Mandatory Skills

  • 10+ years of total experience in Supply Chain functional roles, including 4+ years in Oracle Cloud SCM.
  • Proven experience in at least three full lifecycle Oracle Cloud SCM implementations.
  • Strong functional expertise in Inventory Management, Shipping, and Logistics
  • Deep understanding of inventory transactions, costing, lot/serial control, intercompany transfers, and sub inventory management.
  • Experience with Supply Chain Execution processes, including Receiving, Picking, Packing, and Shipping.
  • Proficiency in FBDI/ADFDI templates, OTBI, and BI Publisher reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of integration points with Order Management, Procurement, and Financials.
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting, material valuation, and GL integration.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with business users and technical teams.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well with offshore teams.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education plus relevant experience, in Computer Science / Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
