Job Details
Job Title: Mainframe CICS and MQ Systems Engineer
Work Location (State, City and Zip): Onsite/Remote in Hartford, CT
Hire Type: Fulltime - Permanent
Technical/Functional Skills
" Strong knowledge of CICS, CICSPlex, MQ on z/OS
" CICS & MQ Version Upgrades
" Experience working with: CICS Performance Analyzer, SAS, IBM Utilities and diagnostic tools such as Omegamon and Mainview for CICS
" Proficiency in the maintenance of IBM CICS & MQ software
" Skilled at troubleshooting problems in CICS & MQ environment.
" Strong dump analysis skills using IPCS
" Experience in using Xpeditor, Strobe, CICS Explorer, SysView, Abend-Aid, File-Aid, CICS-CTG
" Experience in customizing ISPF Panels, RSU Maintenance, Analyzing and Fixing CICS Abends
" Procedural controls for operation
" Monitoring and gathering production statistics
" Establishing procedures to control changes to the online system design
