Job Details

Job Title: Application Support Specialist

Duration: 12 months

Location: Oakland County,MI

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide application support for end users of both vendor and custom-developed business applications.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate application issues in line with documented IT policies and practices.
  • Deliver end-user training on specific applications to improve adoption and efficiency.
  • Document new and existing processes, workflows, and support procedures for consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Support CLEMIS Division applications, ensuring smooth operation of public safety systems for law enforcement and related users.
  • Assist in the management and support of enterprise applications such as Kronos, Salesforce, Workday, and other assigned systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions align with departmental needs and compliance requirements.

Required Skills:

  • 3 5 years of professional experience in IT systems and support.
  • Hands-on experience with court audio/video broadcast and recording technologies (e.g., JAVS, BIS).
  • Proficiency in hybrid meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, WebEx).
  • Familiarity with court management solutions (e.g., Courts MiFile)
