Express Employment Professionals is proud to partner with a highly respected client-an industry leader in yacht and marine services known for exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a Marine Mechanic to join their dynamic and expanding team.

Our client focuses on the repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of marine vessels between 40' and 100'. This opportunity is well-suited for a reliable and skilled technician with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for marine systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering top-tier service by performing high-quality mechanical work in a safe, efficient, and professional setting-while upholding the company's strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform mechanical and electrical repairs in accordance with ABYC and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in line with boatyard protocols.
• Operate hand tools, machine tools, and test equipment with care and accuracy.
• Accurately complete and close work orders aligned with shop schedules.
• Identify and communicate any abnormal conditions to supervisory staff.
• Support offsite work and mobile service objectives as needed.
• Provide mentoring or training to junior staff when required.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold Shearwater's professional standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Travel and overnight assignments may be required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in marine maintenance, repair, or operation.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid Florida driver's license and passport.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work in confined spaces, and tolerate outdoor environments.
• Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and flexible with scheduling.
