Role: SAP ABAP Consultant
Location: Dallas TX or Plano TX- Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP programs using ABAP/4, OO ABAP, and ABAP on HANA.
Work on RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
Develop and maintain SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
Create and maintain BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
Support integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
Debug and resolve issues in existing ABAP programs.
Work collaboratively with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of ABAP programs.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies (e.g., CDS Views, OData, Fiori integration).

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented ABAP, ALV reports, and enhancements.
Experience in SAP HANA and S/4HANA environment (preferred).
Knowledge of Fiori / UI5 integration (advantageous).
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP ABAP certification (optional but preferred).
Experience with ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) and Core Data Services (CDS).
Exposure to Agile / DevOps methodologies.
Understanding of SAP Workflow and IDocs.
