Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Payroll Consultant to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and supporting Workday Payroll
and HR solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Workday HCM and Payroll modules, payroll compliance, integrations, and end-to-end payroll processes.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and ensure seamless payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support Workday Payroll and HCM implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
Configure and maintain Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management modules.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Support end-to-end payroll processing, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and reporting.
Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields for payroll insights.
Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and provide day-to-day functional support.
Assist in designing, building, and testing Workday integrations with third-party vendors (benefits, time systems, tax vendors, etc.).
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and payroll testing cycles.
Provide knowledge transfer and end-user training to HR, payroll, and business teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in HR, Finance, IT, or related field.
3 7 years of Workday Payroll experience, including configuration and support.
Strong knowledge of Workday HCM Core, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules.
Hands-on experience in Workday payroll processing, compliance, and reporting.
Familiarity with Workday calculated fields, custom reports, and integrations.
Solid understanding of Global payroll laws and regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Workday certification in Payroll and/or HCM preferred.
Nice to Have:
Experience with global payroll integrations and third-party payroll vendors.
Knowledge of Workday Studio, PECI, and EIB integrations.
