  • Collaborate closely with application support, infrastructure, clinical, and business teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize interface monitoring tools and methodologies to proactively identify and address potential problems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive interface documentation, including workflows, connectivity diagrams, and configuration details.
  • Provide technical guidance on interface upgrades, migrations, and new requirements, with a focus on backward compatibility and minimal operational risk.
  • Ensure change management procedures are rigorously followed, especially regarding system patches, security updates, and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development relating to interface management and support best practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of evolving healthcare standards, regulations (such as HIPAA), and interoperability trends to inform ongoing interface strategy.
  • Offer mentorship and technical direction to other team members and stakeholders on interface-related topics.

  • Strong knowledge of interface troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization within healthcare environments.
  • Experience collaborating with EMR/EHR platforms (e.g., Cerner, Epic, Meditech).
  • Working familiarity with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in healthcare IT.
  • Ability to manage priorities autonomously and drive resolution through collaboration.
  • Experience with ITSM tools, asset management systems, and vendor management in healthcare.
