Annual Salary: $53,610

What You'll Do:

  • Tech Support: Provide on-site installation, technical support, and maintenance for computer networks and over 4300+ endpoints in the Fredericksburg-Stafford, VA region.
  • Hardware & Software: Troubleshoot, install, and configure hardware, connectivity, and applications.
  • Network Management: Configure and troubleshoot LAN/Wireless networks, network infrastructure, IP security camera systems, and VoIP phone systems.
  • Project Assistance: Assist with hardware deployment projects, including server and storage systems, security systems, and network cabling installation.
  • Mobile Connectivity: Ensure seamless network connectivity for mobile computing.

What We're Looking For:

  • Clean Driving Record: A clear driving record is required.
  • Tech Savvy: Strong knowledge of network hardware and protocols, including routers, switches, firewalls.
  • Problem Solver: Experience with network troubleshooting and resolution techniques.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Certifications: Preferably at least one of CompTIA Network+, Server+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification.
  • Experience: Preferably 1-2 years in an IT service environment but not required.
  • Dynamic & Customer-Oriented: Ability to interact with clients to determine their needs and provide outstanding service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Active Role: Be prepared for physical tasks such as walking, bending, lifting up to 70 lbs. and more.
  • Site Work: Must be comfortable using power hand tools and climbing ladders.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.

Essential Functions:

  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain outstanding levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Efficient Support: Provide accurate and efficient technical support to resolve service issues.
  • Timely Service: Process support calls promptly and maintain communication with the dispatch team.
  • Daily Reporting: Ensure all work reports and service reports are accounted for daily.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting: Provide accurate and thorough troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
  • Service Tickets: Manage and resolve service tickets via onsite and/or remote support sessions.
  • Equipment Deployment: Deliver and deploy technology equipment and materials to client locations.
  • Help Desk Assistance: Assist the Help Desk Team with daily activities and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Inventory Management: Account for parts, supplies, tools, and equipment taken from the department.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all service equipment and vehicles are kept in top condition.
  • Team Coordination: Meet regularly with the Service Manager to ensure smooth operations.
