Job Title: QA Lead

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)

Contract: W2 Only (NO C2C / 1099)

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA. The ideal candidate will lead the QA efforts across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust testing strategies, automation frameworks, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage QA activities across manual and automated testing efforts.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Design and implement automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform hands-on testing and lead defect triage meetings.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers and SDETs.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
• Strong experience in both manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and testing in cloud-native environments.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
