Engineering Team Coordinator
Haag, a leader in forensic engineering and consulting since 1924, is seeking an Engineering Team Coordinator in the Flower Mound, TX office. After 90 days, this is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely each week.
SUMMARY:
The Haag Global Engineering Team Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of assigned engineers. The Engineering Team Coordinator will interact regularly with Engineers and clients as well as Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Invoicing Coordinators, and Business Unit Leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides admin support for engineering team.
Assists with the process of scheduling inspections (maintaining calendars,
travel arrangements, etc.).
Maintains databases both internally and externally.
Assists with report production.
Assists with maintaining of project file.
Is knowledgeable of Haag Procedures and national agreements or where to
locate that information and how to use it.
Staff support and back up duties.
Works on special projects as assigned.
Responds to customer problems or complaints using best resolution skills.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent, required. College degree preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Intermediate level of computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively, clearly, and politely with employees and clients.
Builds a positive team environment and maintains cooperative working relationships.
Aptitude to actively listen, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Ability to monitor/assess the performance of yourself to make improvements or take corrective actions.
Maintains enthusiasm and a sense of urgency towards work.
Accepts and adjusts to changes in work priorities willingly and efficiently.
Possesses strong administrative, critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and is willing to go above and beyond to get the job done.
