Description
We are looking for a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team in New York, New York. This role requires a proactive and analytical individual who excels at problem-solving and delivering effective technological solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing IT systems, while providing hands-on support and fostering collaboration across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi systems, to ensure optimal performance and security.
Support server operations, disaster recovery planning, and implement cybersecurity measures.
Manage user access controls and enforce security policies to protect organizational systems.
Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve IT efficiency.
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Act as the primary contact for third-party IT consultants, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Establish and manage relationships with IT vendors to ensure reliable service delivery.
Provide comprehensive technical support and guidance to all staff members.
Contribute to network-related projects, including upgrades, implementations, and system decommissioning.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection and identity management.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support and administration.
Ability to work on-site five days a week for effective collaboration and timely support.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage across all organizational levels.
Proven problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
Demonstrated creativity and innovation in implementing and maintaining IT systems.
Hands-on experience with network projects, including system upgrades and installations.
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including endpoint security and identity management.
Proficiency in firewall technologies, Active Directory, LAN, Office 365, cloud computing, and system administration.
