Job Details

Hire Technology is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Global HR Programs to oversee and lead Client s global HR programs and strategic Workday system implementation initiatives. This role is essential in aligning global HR projects with overall business goals, driving successful execution, and ensuring that HR technology programs deliver value across the organization.

As the central point of coordination for global stakeholders, the Manager will be responsible for full lifecycle project management especially around Workday configuration, implementation, and enhancements while delivering structure, insight, and strategic alignment to HRIS and HR Technology teams.

100% Remote - however Manager will be working with Client's global customers, so there maybe some early hours and late nights.

Temp to Hire position

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage global HR programs and projects, with a focus on mid-to-large-scale Workday system implementation and enhancement.

  • Support and manage multiple concurrent Workday projects, including global rollouts, M&A activities, and regional integrations.

  • Oversee project timelines, scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful and timely implementation.

  • Collaborate with global partners and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure business needs are met.

  • Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, issue/risk logs, and status reports.

  • Facilitate communication across global HR teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Provide thought leadership, strategic direction, and problem-solving to mitigate risks and drive resolution of project challenges.

  • Develop and implement consistent frameworks, standards, tools, and templates for Workday-related HR initiatives.

  • Drive organizational change efforts, develop communication strategies, and ensure a strong colleague experience throughout project transitions.

  • Partner with HRIS and HR Shared Services teams to assess system configuration impacts and service center implications.

  • Monitor project budgets and create business cases to evaluate ROI and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in HR and/or project management 

  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant discipline or 4 additional years of related experience in lieu of degree.

  • Proven track record of managing global HR technology projects, especially involving Workday implementations.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and delivering complex communication plans.

  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools.

  • Demonstrated success in managing budgets and creating ROI-focused business cases.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive continuous improvement, and lead teams through change.

Preferred:

  • Prior hands-on experience with Workday HCM or Workday program management.

  • Familiarity with HR Shared Services, HRIS configuration, and enterprise-level HR systems.

  • Experience supporting M&A HR integrations or international HR systems deployment.

 

Houston area candidates highly preferred.
