We are looking for a Software Development Engineer - Intermediate for our client in Austin, TX
Job Title: Software Development Engineer - Intermediate

Job Description:
Should Have / Nice to Have:
  • Ansible.
  • Awareness of data analytics and visualization.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, enhance, and support existing software products for automation, data collection, and visualization.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of tasks and deliverables.
  • Practice agile software development methodologies.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to high-level and low-level design.
  • Prepare technical documentation (requirements, design, defects, status, summaries).
  • Participate in design and code reviews and ensure timely resolution of comments.
  • Develop and implement software features or modules.
  • Triage and troubleshoot development and production issues.
  • Design and write SQL scripts to analyze, triage, and derive insights from large datasets.
  • Provide Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 support for applications and customers.
Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Strong SQL knowledge.
  • Shell scripting.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation abilities.
Experience:
  • Experience in software development with hands-on work in Python, SQL, and shell scripting (insert years if provided).
