Job Description

Title: Connectivity RF HW Design Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA ONSITE

Responsibilities:
  • Simulate RF HW design using a 3D EM simulation tool for product integration.
  • Measure the RF HW performance and correlate it with the 3D simulation results..
  • Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure that specifications are met at the component, board, and system levels.
  • Understanding of the HW design process and pushing PDP from early prototype, tuning, validation, and certification
  • Connectivity RF HW design with expertise in one or more of the following areas: GPS, NFC, WiFi, BT
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with RF HW Design for wireless consumer electronics or similar industry such as infotainment.
  • Experience in 3D EM simulation for product level (preferred experience in Ansys-HFSS)
  • Experience RF concepts such as impedance matching and Smith Charts
  • Experience using RF simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, Momentum
  • Experience in RF measurement using Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, Power meter, Communication equipments(CMW500, CWM100, Litepoint, CMP180) and so on
  • Experience in debugging RF issues
  • Minimum BSEE with 5+ years experience. MS or Phd degree is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
  • Experience with Siemens NX
  • Experience in Cadence Virtuoso and EMX
  • Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture for RF circuits
  • Experience with LTE, WLAN, BT, GPS circuits, modules, and test specification
  • Experience designing radios for consumer electronic devices
