Job Description
Title: Connectivity RF HW Design Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA ONSITE
Responsibilities:
Title: Connectivity RF HW Design Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA ONSITE
Responsibilities:
- Simulate RF HW design using a 3D EM simulation tool for product integration.
- Measure the RF HW performance and correlate it with the 3D simulation results..
- Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure that specifications are met at the component, board, and system levels.
- Understanding of the HW design process and pushing PDP from early prototype, tuning, validation, and certification
- Connectivity RF HW design with expertise in one or more of the following areas: GPS, NFC, WiFi, BT
- 3+ years of experience with RF HW Design for wireless consumer electronics or similar industry such as infotainment.
- Experience in 3D EM simulation for product level (preferred experience in Ansys-HFSS)
- Experience RF concepts such as impedance matching and Smith Charts
- Experience using RF simulation tools such as Keysight ADS, Momentum
- Experience in RF measurement using Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, Power meter, Communication equipments(CMW500, CWM100, Litepoint, CMP180) and so on
- Experience in debugging RF issues
- Minimum BSEE with 5+ years experience. MS or Phd degree is a plus.
- Experience with Siemens NX
- Experience in Cadence Virtuoso and EMX
- Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture for RF circuits
- Experience with LTE, WLAN, BT, GPS circuits, modules, and test specification
- Experience designing radios for consumer electronic devices
