Job Description
Required Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Education:

- Master's degree is a plus.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in data analysis and profiling techniques.

- Familiarity with data quality management concepts and tools.

- Experience with SAP BW, Google Cloud Platform big query preferred.

- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Attention to detail with structured work approach.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a fast-paced team environment.

Data Steward Overview:

As a Data Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of organizational data by analyzing datasets across various data warehouses on Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and SAP BW platforms. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for establishing Data Stewardship activities, including analyzing requirements, building specification documents, coordinating with implementation teams, performing data validations, and UATs. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and extensive experience in SAP BW and SQL within data domains like Commercial, SCM, Planning, Finance, Manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze data models in SAP BW to derive business insights.

- Validate Azure Lakehouse database views and create data integration mapping specifications.

- Ensure adherence to Crop Science warehouse data governance guidelines in data models.

- Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify anomalies and inconsistencies.

- Assist in developments, perform data validations, and support production deployments in Google Cloud Platform.

- Prepare business test scenarios and UAT test cases.

- Support development, platform, and UAT teams on requirement clarification.

- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

- Stay updated on industry trends and database best practices.

- Utilize SQL expertise for hands-on data validation tasks in Google Cloud Platform.
