Job Title: System Admin

Location: Phoenix AZ

Contract to hire

Responsibilities:
  • Server Administration and Troubleshooting:
    • Proficient in managing both Linux and Windows servers.
    • Skilled in patching and basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
  • Converged Solutions:
    • Experience with VCE/UCP, including VMWare versions 6 and above.
    • Knowledge of platform and network connectivity.
    • Familiarity with threat analysis and remediation trends.
    • Proficient in PowerShell and Linux scripting.
  • Storage:
    • Competent in CIFS/NFS, Linux, and Windows scripting.
    • Able to generate DPA reports.
    • Administration of Avamar and Data Domain.
    • Solid understanding of Windows and Linux environments.
  • Middleware:
    • Proficiency in managing Linux, Windows, WebSphere, Apache, IIS, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
  • Mainframes:
    • Familiarity with JCL and CICS SYSPLEX.
  • Networking:
    • Strong grasp of network protocols and OSI Model.
    • Holds Network+ Certification.
  • Workflow and Knowledge Management:
    • Proficient in using ServiceNow.
  • Collaboration Tools:
    • Skilled in TrueSight, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Process:
    • Knowledgeable in ITSM.
    • Proficient in operations analytics methodologies (e.g., Lean) to drive performance improvement.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:
    • Capable of analyzing and resolving complex technical issues.
  • ITIL Fundamentals:
    • Familiar with ITIL principles.
  • Incident and Change Management:
    • Knowledgeable about Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Event Management.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • ITIL fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Event Management, and Incident Management
