Overview
We are seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst with a strong foundation in data governance, analytics, and product ownership. The ideal candidate will combine analytical rigor with business insight—identifying gaps, documenting user stories, ensuring data quality, and supporting end-to-end product delivery. This role requires someone who can manage both business and technical requirements while enforcing data integrity, compliance, and governance standards across the organization.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, uncover process gaps, and translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.

Support data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, lineage, and compliance across systems by implementing standards, validation checks, and stewardship practices.

Analyze large, complex data sets to identify anomalies, trends, and root causes; recommend solutions that align with business goals.

Develop, maintain, and optimize Python + SQL ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and validate structured/unstructured data across multiple sources.

Design and automate dashboards and reports in Power BI and other BI tools to deliver actionable insights, track KPIs, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Partner with product owners to prioritize backlog items, manage dependencies, and align product roadmaps with business objectives.

Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies to drive collaboration and ensure timely delivery of business-critical solutions.

Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve operational outcomes.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

5–7 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or related roles.

Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL pipeline development.

Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI (plus experience with other BI/reporting tools such as Sisense, SAP, or Alteryx).

Experience with data governance practices including data quality, lineage, metadata management, and compliance frameworks.

Proficiency with AWS (S3, Lambda, Athena) and data automation workflows.

Demonstrated experience documenting BRDs, user stories, and technical workflows in Agile/SAFe environments.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with data privacy and regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).

Experience with visualization and collaboration tools (Figma, JIRA, Confluence).

Exposure to telecom, healthcare, or enterprise software domains.
