Job Title: Network Engineer Cisco / Aruba

Location: New York City (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week; occasional travel to CT/NJ)

About the Role:
We are hiring a seasoned Network Engineer to support a global network transformation initiative for a leading client in the finance sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge Cisco and Aruba technology stacks in a hybrid setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Senior Network Architect on design, administration, and optimization.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide Tier 3 support across the enterprise.
Participate in ongoing network refresh and modernization projects globally.
Monitor performance, ensure high availability, and implement improvements.
Support trading and Bloomberg platforms with low-latency, high-resilience solutions.
Occasional site visits to client offices in Connecticut and New Jersey.
Must-Have Skills:
Active CCIE Certification
Expertise in Cisco infrastructure (especially Cisco ACI)
Hands-on experience with Aruba networking
Familiarity with:
Palo Alto Firewalls
Citrix NetScaler
Riverbed WAN Optimization & SDWAN
Strong understanding of low-latency data circuits, especially in financial environments
Ideal Candidate Profile:
8 12+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
Previous experience in financial services or trading environments
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative architecture setting
Excellent communication and documentation skills
