Job Details

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of experience with legal support roles, with experience utilizing Excel and legal databases.
  • Proficiency in legal document management and case tracking systems.
  • Experience with drafting legal pleadings and court-related documentation.
  • Experience in managing electronic and hard copy legal files.
  • Experience with court filing procedures and service of process.
  • Experience in legal research and information gathering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage casework, including documentation and tracking from referral to resolution.
  • Research, review, and gather case information, documenting findings accurately.
  • Draft legal pleadings using templates and prepare trial exhibits.
  • File documents with courts and interact with court clerk offices.
  • Coordinate service copies and schedule court reporters for hearings.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, both hard copy and electronic.
  • Process, index, and file documents, ensuring confidentiality and security.
