Salesforce Developer

Job Summary/ Essential Job Functions:
Client is seeking a contract Salesforce Developer with additional Administration expertise to support and enhance applications hosted on the Salesforce platform. This role will primarily focus on enhancing the Salesforce based Legal Stratus application and maintaining the overall health, configuration, and user management of the Salesforce environment.
5+ years of Salesforce CRM development experience.
Experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and leveraging Salesforce APIs.
Hands-on experience with user administration, security models, data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard).
Development experience with JavaScript, HTML, SQL, REST/SOAP Web Services, or related technologies.
Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and metadata management.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with Salesforce declarative tools (flows, page layouts, reports, dashboards).
Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning Design System and Visual Studio Code.
Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I (required), with Certified Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical teams
Daily Tasks
Develop scalable and efficient solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other technologies.
Design and implement automation tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules to streamline business processes.
Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, and related metadata.
Manage user administration tasks including creation and maintenance of user accounts, profiles, roles, permission sets, and delegated administration.
Perform routine administrative tasks such as data imports/exports, data cleansing, deduplication, and mass updates.
Maintain system security and data access through user roles, profiles, and sharing rules.
Assist with release cycles to deploy new or updated applications and code and ensure post-deployment support.
Integrate Salesforce with other internal/external systems using APIs and middleware.
Conduct unit testing and debugging; participate in QA and UAT cycles.
Document system configurations, customizations, and code changes.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
Provide end-user support and training as needed and respond to service requests or incident tickets.
Collaborate closely with developers, other administrators, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices to continuously improve system functionality.
This will be primarily an onsite position with possibility of Hybrid down the road once things settle.
