Job Details
Job Title: Project Manager

Roles & responsibilities:
- Oversee technology projects and work to support clients technology
- roadmap.
- Manage activities of mid to long term projects with responsibility for
- results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes.
- Lead each project through the project life cycle phase while optimally
- executing the processes defined by the PMO using the tools provided
- Perform duties related to day to day project management including
- project planning, scope definition, status reports, budget management,
- carrying out project management standard methodologies/processes,
- and supporting the continuous improvement of PMO operations
- Meet with project team members (functional and technical) to identify
- and resolve risks and issues and report/escalate to leadership as needed
- Plan and designate project resources, monitor progress using appropriate
- tools and techniques/KPIs and keep sponsor and stakeholders informed
- Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources, including third
- party vendors
- Support adhoc project requests including but not limited to regulatory
- and compliance programs
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Desired skills:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or Science discipline, Finance, Business
- or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 12-15 years of overall experience and proficient in handling Software and
- IT projects.
- Over 3 years of experience in project management in IT sector including
- web development and mobility.
- Experience working in a PMO environment and demonstrated ability to
- lead cross functional matrixed project teams which may include IT,
- DevOps, Legal, Regulatory and Engineering
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on
- experience in software development and web & mobile technologies.
- Should have experience in handling end-to-end projects, preferably from
- a services standpoint.
- Ability to influence, collaborate and demonstrate strong facilitation skills
- Good organizational skills; including attention to detail and multi-tasking
- skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Advanced proficiency
- with MS Project, Smartsheet and PPM tools (Atlassian suite Jira and
- Confluence)
- SCRUM/Agile Development experience is a must.
- PMP & Scrum Master certification is a plus
- Prior experience in Energy sector (Power Generation/Distribution, Gas
- Operations etc.) is a plus.
