Location: Fully Remote
Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

We're looking for a Junior Banner DBA to support the administration and optimization of our Ellucian Banner ERP environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational experience in Banner and Oracle technologies to grow into a senior-level role. You'll work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to critical ERP operations in a higher education setting.

? Key Responsibilities
- Assist with updates and patches for Banner ERP and third-party products
- Help maintain and upgrade ERP environments using Tomcat
- Support full lifecycle management of Banner ERP and Oracle tools
- Participate in database/application installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Contribute to backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
- Monitor system performance and assist with tuning and optimization
- Learn and support Banner 9 architecture and related tools
- Assist with integration of third-party applications (e.g., AppWorx, Evisions, Canvas)
- Support Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity services for Banner 9
- Script and automate tasks on RHEL 8/Linux using Shell and PL/SQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with Ellucian Banner ERP
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle (RMAN, OEM, PL/SQL, etc.)
- Basic experience with Shell scripting, WebLogic, and Tomcat
- Familiarity with RHEL 8/Linux platform
- Exposure to observability tools; New Relic is a plus
- Understanding of Banner 9 Admin Pages and Self-Service
- Experience with Ellucian Solution Manager, BEIS, Ethos Identity
- Interest in growing into a senior DBA role
