Buyer and Planner

Pay: Up to $53/hr.

Schedule: Hybrid, 8:00am - 4:30pm



Buyer and Planner essential tasks:

• Plans and monitors material flow through production to maintain proper inventory levels.


• Handles shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials and supplies.


• Sources inventory and non-inventory items and coordinates with suppliers for timely deliveries.


• Places purchase orders for indirect goods and services to meet business needs.


• Collaborates with internal teams, including finance and accounting, to support purchasing and month-end inventory processes.


• Works with the Quality department to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.


• Supports continuous improvement efforts and ensures employee training is completed and documented.

Qualifications:

• 6-9 years of experience with a BA or 4-7 years with an MBA, preferably in purchasing or procurement.


• 2-4 years of experience with SAP or a similar ERP system and strong MRP planning knowledge.


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and skilled in data analysis to support fast, informed decision-making.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high sense of urgency.


• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and navigate escalation paths internally and externally.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle competing demands effectively.
