Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support long-term digital transformation and document management initiatives. The role involves analyzing current business processes, supporting technology integration, and contributing to modernization efforts through documentation, planning, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and document business functions and workflows
Create standard operating procedures, user manuals, and training materials
Schedule and coordinate meetings; document outcomes
Analyze the integration of business operations with technology platforms
Assist in business case development and business process reengineering
Work with stakeholders to identify and document needs, goals, and system requirements
Recommend and document process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions
Assist in developing project work plans and managing project timelines
Draft technical specifications and work requirement documents
Required Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience in document management or information governance
3+ years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements
2+ years working with public safety or DPS-related document workflows
Hands-on experience analyzing IBM Content Manager systems
Experience with Kofax systems and workflows
Strong background in evaluating electronic document management system (EDMS) migrations
Familiarity with application analysis in digital environments
Ability to analyze data and produce reports to support business decisions and process improvements
