We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Architect to design, implement, and optimize Workday solutions across HCM, Payroll, Finance, and related modules. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical and functional expertise in Workday, strong integration and configuration skills, and the ability to provide architectural leadership for enterprise-scale Workday implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and design Workday architecture aligned with business and IT strategies.
Lead end-to-end implementation and upgrade projects across HCM, Finance, Payroll, and other modules.
Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
Develop and maintain Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Drive the data migration and conversion strategy from legacy systems to Workday.
Establish and enforce Workday security frameworks, role-based access, and compliance controls.
Optimize system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Mentor technical teams and guide developers on best practices and standards.
Collaborate with HRIS, Finance, and IT leadership to ensure seamless process automation and governance.
Stay updated with Workday releases and assess new features for business applicability.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of overall IT experience with 6+ years in Workday architecture and integration design.
Proven experience in Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, Compensation, and Benefits modules.
Hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, Cloud Connect, and Workday APIs.
Strong understanding of Workday security model, tenant configuration, and BIRT reporting.
Experience designing end-to-end integration between Workday and third-party systems.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Workday certifications in Integration, HCM, or Financials preferred.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
