Basic Qualifications & Experience:

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer with experience in native Android mobile application development. Your primary focus will be developing the Android apps and their integration with our back-end services and third-parties. As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be working in a team maintaining and making additions to our Android applications as well as creating brand new applications from the ground up.

• Develop Go applications and framework components that are scalable and maintainable
• Translate software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software
• Develop services that interact with RDBMS and Messaging systems
• Develop quality unit & integration tests to ensure a reliable and performant product
• Play a key role in event-driven architecture and design of the system

What you will need to have:

• 2+ year of Go software development experience
• 2+ years of experience with Go frameworks: API
• 2+ years of experience building Go applications backed by a relational database such as Postgres or MySQL
• 2+ years of experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• 2+ years of experience with Git
• 2+ years of experience with Event Driven Architectures: RabbitMQ, Kafka and/or similar technology
• 1+ years of experience with Kafka Connect
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work or military experience
