Background:

The Florida Department of Revenue (Department) operates the Child Support Automated Management System (CAMS), which supports the Child Support Program (CSP). CAMS is built on SAP ERP technology, enabling robust business rule automation and streamlined workflow management.

The Department is currently upgrading its ERP platform to SAP S/4HANA and is seeking skilled consultants to support this transition.

Scope of Work:

We are seeking a qualified ERP Functional Analyst (SAP) to join the Enterprise System Support Process (ESSP) team. The consultant will augment current resources and provide expert-level support for functional and technical data migration, CAMS enhancements, and S/4HANA upgrade initiatives.

This position involves collaboration with executive sponsors, internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendor partners to ensure successful delivery of all project components.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide functional and technical consultation for CAMS and the S/4HANA upgrade.
Support operations and maintenance planning, including regular updates to project documentation.
Perform impact analysis for change requests, covering cost, resource allocation, and system dependencies.
Participate in or lead meetings, prepare documentation (agendas, presentations, minutes).
Develop reports and responses for audits, federal/state inquiries, and internal reviews.
Assist with performance analysis, root cause evaluations, and resolution of system errors.
Collaborate on software releases, test planning, and validation of SAP system updates.
Review and improve workflows, forms, functional specifications, and security procedures.
Document, execute, and validate system testing using developed test scripts.
Support access control management, including user roles and permissions.
Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring, and training to Department staff and partners.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on SAP ERP experience preferably with CAMS, SAP ECC, or SAP S/4HANA.
Proven experience with data migration, SAP testing, functional documentation, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with state or federal child support programs is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
