Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated PNT Expert to join our talented team. In this role, you will create and implement programs to uphold quality standards for products and services. You will be responsible for developing policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and enhance the quality of products, materials, components, and operations, while supporting improvements.
Work is performed on site in Norfolk, VA and Virginia Beach, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a practical understanding of engineering concepts.
- Ensure that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.
- Testing equipment to validate that the process operates effectively and safely.
- Interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
- Experience in computer aided drafting (CAD).
- Prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (HSD), General Educational Development (GED), related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate.
- Five years of hands-on experience with US Navy Navigation equipment and systems.
- The experience must include specific experience in two of the three areas of: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, and Training.
- Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in US Navy Navigation equipment and systems.
- Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
Required Security Clearance:
- ship required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Active Interim Secret or final Secret clearance is preferred.
