Job Details

Role:                      Desktop Support Manager  

Location:              Minneapolis, MN

Mode of Hire:       Full Time

 

 

 

Role and Responsibilities:-

  • Documentation of problems and their solutions as they are uncovered.
  • Project management of moves.
  • Be the lead EUC representation in appropriate meetings and conversations.
  • Interface with the EUC stakeholders to keep them informed
  • Vendor management in order validation, execution, shipping and receiving
  • Inventorying of abandoned equipment and the coordination of the disposal, cleaning and/or reuse.
  • Oversee the user’s experience on “Move In Days” by providing hands on assistance, or problem escalation when appropriate.

 

Skills Required:

  • Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years prior deskside support experience
  • Hands on support with the setup and configuration of hardware
  • Experience with Desktop Break/Fix
  • Experience with MS Windows 7-11
  • Experience with office technology (MS Office 365, Web-based Applications, One Drive).
  • Experience in large corporate technical support environment
  • Experience with ticketing tools
  • Experience providing excellent Customer Service and face to face hardware support to customers
