Job Details
Role: Desktop Support Manager
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Mode of Hire: Full Time
Role and Responsibilities:-
- Documentation of problems and their solutions as they are uncovered.
- Project management of moves.
- Be the lead EUC representation in appropriate meetings and conversations.
- Interface with the EUC stakeholders to keep them informed
- Vendor management in order validation, execution, shipping and receiving
- Inventorying of abandoned equipment and the coordination of the disposal, cleaning and/or reuse.
- Oversee the user’s experience on “Move In Days” by providing hands on assistance, or problem escalation when appropriate.
Skills Required:
- Associates Degree or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years prior deskside support experience
- Hands on support with the setup and configuration of hardware
- Experience with Desktop Break/Fix
- Experience with MS Windows 7-11
- Experience with office technology (MS Office 365, Web-based Applications, One Drive).
- Experience in large corporate technical support environment
- Experience with ticketing tools
- Experience providing excellent Customer Service and face to face hardware support to customers
