A Seattle-based Health tech startup is looking for a talented AI Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time hybrid position (2-3 days onsite) where you'll contribute to the development of cutting-edge EMR products that improve the healthcare experience. You'll be working with advanced LLM models using Python and modern AI/ML practices to drive innovation in healthcare technology.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a fast-growing company that's building its AI team from the ground up. You'll have the autonomy to help shape the direction of AI in their core products-balancing Greenfield work with the chance to inject critical AI functionality into existing systems. Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience working with LLMs in production environments
- Strong Python programming experience
- Experience with fine-tuning and evaluating LLMs
- Knowledge of model training, evaluation, and deployment
- Experience building APIs and AI-driven services
- Ability to define AI/ML best practices
- Experience working at a startup
- Background in health tech or a strong interest in healthcare innovation
- Familiarity with evaluating and choosing AI/ML tooling
