Job Details

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior EDI Administrator/Coordinator to manage and optimize our Order-to-Cash processes within an IBMi/iSeries (AS/400) environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in EDI mapping and process automation, particularly using OpenText TrustedLink iSeries (TLi ), along with a strong understanding of retail industry requirements and trading partner compliance.
This position requires a mix of technical proficiency, problem-solving, and business process understanding to ensure smooth and accurate data exchange between our internal systems and external trading partners .

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support all EDI processes ensuring reliability and compliance across department initiatives.
  • Develop, map, test, and maintain EDI transactions (810, 850, 856, 855 etc.) using OpenText TrustedLink iSeries (TLi).
  • Troubleshoot EDI communication and transaction issues , coordinating with internal IT, trading partners, and VANs to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor daily EDI processing, including acknowledgments, errors, and exception handling, ensuring data integrity and timely delivery.
  • Work with business teams to onboard new trading partners, implement new transaction sets, and maintain existing integrations.
  • Collaborate with ERP developers to design, write, and debug CL, RPG, and RPGILE programs supporting EDI and order processing interfaces.
  • Maintain and update system documentation, EDI maps, trading partner profiles, and internal process flows.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and sales teams to ensure EDI data accuracy for orders, invoices, and shipment notifications.
  • Participate in projects integrating to/from Infor A+/Daly & Walcot (D&W) and JDA/BlueYonder MMS systems.
  • Provide end-user and partner support for EDI-related inquiries and issues.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing EDI systems in a retail or consumer goods environment.
  • Extensive experience with OpenText TrustedLink iSeries (TLi) mapping, configuration, and trading partner management.
  • Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash business processes and retail industry EDI standards (VICS, GS1).
  • Proficiency with IBMi/iSeries (AS/400) platform including CL, RPG, RPGILE scripting and debugging.
  • Working knowledge of FTP/SFTP, VANs, and other EDI communication methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Infor A+/D&W (Daly & Walcot) highly desirable.
  • Experience with JDA/BlueYonder MMS (Merchandise Management System) highly desirable.
  • Project experience integrating EDI systems into new ERP and WMS systems.
  • Project management or coordination experience in technology or supply chain integration projects.
  • Experience working with large retail trading partners (e.g., Walmart, Target, Amazon) .
