Job Description:

Apex Systems is seeking a sharp Network Administrator to support one of our Healthcare clients onsite in Atlanta, GA.

This role will be onsite 5 days a week.

Contract: estimated 1 year with possibility to extend or convert.

Must have a valid Drivers License + reliable transportation of your own. This role will require onsite visits to healthcare facilities (mileage reimbursed).

Pay is DOE, starting at $25/hour.

The Network Administrator will assist with the proper maintenance of the LAN, Wireless, and WAN voice and data networks.

Primary responsibilities:

Will handle field support for telephony products - CUCM focused work - will be day to day operations

Network+

Windows proficiency - installing softphones

Voice experience preferred

Some standby afterhours work

Rack and stack network hardware

Some light router and switch work, twist locks, PDU, UPS,

Read ping, collect feedback from ping command, voice work, etc

Need to have strong communication skills - will work with a variety of end users

If there is a larger command line interface or large configuration on the switches, they will handle this with the network engineers - if a switch needs to be replaced they will work with the network engineers

There will be a detailed training program when they start - 2-week training program.

Minimum Requirements:

Will need to have your own transportation as you will be traveling from site to site (will be reimbursed for mileage)

Basic networking experience - some combination of router, switch, phone, etc

Technical troubleshooting

Completed High School Diploma or GED.
