Senior Software Engineer Java Sunnyvale, CA
We re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java) with strong experience in Java/Kotlin, scalable backend systems, and mobile app development. You ll design and build consumer-facing applications, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
What You ll Do:
- Develop and scale backend platforms & mobile solutions (Android/iOS).
- Write clean, maintainable Java/Kotlin code, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
- Work with REST, GraphQL, APIs, and cloud integrations.
- Collaborate with product/design teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Drive innovation, mentor engineers, and support best practices.
What We re Looking For:
- BS/MS in CS/Engineering.
- 5+ years in software engineering (Java, full stack, mobile, backend).
- Experience in consumer-facing/e-commerce apps.
- Knowledge of Kotlin, Coroutines, MVVM, Google APIs, 3rd party libraries.
- Agile/Scrum experience with Jira or similar tools.
- Ex-Walmart (must have/required)
