Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Planner to join our team. This role involves the creation and maintenance of Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) and Order Bills of Material (OBOM). The ideal candidate will analyze engineering drawings, models, and specifications to develop comprehensive work instructions and supporting documentation for production teams.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Planner to join our team. This role involves the creation and maintenance of Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) and Order Bills of Material (OBOM). The ideal candidate will analyze engineering drawings, models, and specifications to develop comprehensive work instructions and supporting documentation for production teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain MBOM and OBOM based on engineering inputs.
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications to plan manufacturing operations and sequences.
- Collaborate with design and production engineering teams to ensure tooling and manufacturing requirements are met.
- Create and revise electronic work instructions and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Support program and management reviews by tracking action items and ensuring timely completion.
- Ensure alignment with manufacturing planning processes and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 16+ years of experience or Master's degree with 14+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing planning processes and procedures.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as SAP, MS Office, CAPP/SFM, Teamcenter, iBASEt (Solumina), and 3DX.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional experience in aviation or aerospace manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications, and manufacturing planning systems.
