Location: Little Rock, Arkansas 

Salary/Pay Rate: $90,000

Type: Direct Hire On-Site & REMOTE Option

 

Archon Resources is currently looking for a Civil Tech Specialist to join one of our best clients located in Little Rock, AR. This is a PERMANENT POSITION with full benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, & 401k.  
 

Summary:

We’re looking for a Civil Tech Specialist who knows their way around Civil3D like a chef knows their kitchen. You’ll be the go-to problem solver for civil design challenges—whether it’s fixing messy templates, untangling workflows, or helping teams get the most out of their tools. This role is about more than technical skills—it’s about sharing knowledge, driving innovation, and making a real difference for the people you work with.

Responsibilities:

  • Jump in to solve technical challenges with Civil3D, including optimizing templates, styles, and processes.

  • Train teams on Civil3D in a way that’s practical, engaging, and easy to apply in real projects.

  • Collaborate with peers who share your drive for innovation and excellence.

  • Contribute to design work—yes, that might mean cutting sheets or picking up markups when needed.

  • Develop and deliver solutions for roadway, residential, and commercial site design.

  • Support projects with a mix of technical assistance, training, and content development.

  • Stay ahead of new tools, features, and trends in civil design to keep your skills (and our capabilities) on the cutting edge.

Requirements:

 

  • Experienced— 8+ YEARS in civil design, especially in roadway, residential, and commercial site projects.

  • Proficient in navigating the Civil3D Ribbon, Toolspace, and ACC without hesitation.

  • A skilled communicator who can work comfortably with clients and internal teams.

  • Someone who values speed and precision equally—and delivers both.

  • Curious about the future of civil engineering and passionate about staying ahead of industry shifts.

  • Generous with your expertise—you share knowledge rather than guard it.

    Bonus Points If You

  • Have led CAD management initiatives, even if you never officially held the title.

  • Know Innovyze or Autodesk Water Solutions.

  • Have experience in technical training or mentoring.

  • Can stay cool under pressure when plans change unexpectedly.
