Role:Product Quality Lead
Location:5 days a week onsite in either Greensboro NC OR Hagerstown MD
Duration:12 month contract
Top Requirements:
Technical Understanding of Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (tech issues, vehicle components)
Data Storytelling (able to turn data and complaints to a story to find solution / create action)
Strong communication (able to talk to all business: engineering, operations, purchasing, and commercial)
Trucking or automotive industry background HUGE plus
Responsibilities:
Investigate and prioritize market product quality issues to ensure product performance and customer satisfaction.
Lead problem-solving activities across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and field service teams.
Chair Field Quality Meetings and lead Quality Action Groups for assigned markets.
Detect and quantify customer quality issues early using enhanced analytics.
Recommend containment actions and appropriate quality tools for field issues.
Coordinate and prioritize quality actions across internal departments.
Communicate product quality status and customer satisfaction metrics clearly across the organization.
Experience:
Bachelors degree in engineering or a business-related field; Masters degree preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing projects.
Familiarity with dealership operations or direct dealer interface.
Strong judgment and prioritization skills focused on customer and brand value.
Ability to build credibility and establish positive relationships across teams.
Experience with quality solving processes, predictive analytics, and data mining.
Strong customer focus and global collaboration experience.
Fluent in English.
