RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote Lead React Developer to join their team.
Overview:
This role has extremely high traffic with high visibility, so they are in the process of adding new features with the latest version of React (with hooks) and then the backend is built on Node (they mostly integrate to API's so its 70% front end react work). They plan to build reusable React components to ensure a smoother and healthier experience across all functions. Testing is super important to what they do as they can risk any downtime so TDD experience is a must, and this person must be proficient at testing their own code. They also use CI/CD pipelines (concourse/Jenkins) and deploy to the cloud (Google Cloud Platform). They also put an emphasis on monitoring the application once it's deployed, as well as understanding the metrics on how its performing (new relic). They deploy to the cloud (Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery) and need someone that understands some form of cloud and deployments. In a perfect world, they will also have retail and ecommerce experience. Lastly, they ideally need someone who can be a lead or is a lead currently. They need knowledge on systems integration, architecture, security etc. The team is very energetic and strong collaboration skills are a must.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-7+ years of experience in React
* Experience with HTML/CSS
* Experience with TDD (testing their own code)
* Experience with Node
* Cloud experience (Google Cloud Platform preferred, BigQuery a plus)
* Ability to lead and mentor others (proven lead experience)
* Understanding of systems integrations and architecture/design
* Understanding of pipelines, monitoring performance of application and metrics
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
