Required Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI, coupled with strong experience integrating APIs, optimizing app performance, and working within enterprise Agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex native iOS applications aligned with Entergy s digital roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and business analysts to deliver robust mobile solutions.
- Implement secure and scalable API integrations with backend systems (REST, GraphQL, or microservices).
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and code reviews to ensure maintainable, high-quality code.
- Optimize application performance, address bugs, and support app store deployment processes.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development best practices.
- Partner with architecture and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with enterprise mobile standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 4 years specializing in iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C).
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture).
- Experience with Xcode, CocoaPods/SPM, and Apple s Human Interface Guidelines.
- Knowledge of mobile security frameworks, OAuth 2.0, and data encryption.
- Familiarity with cloud integration (Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
