JOB SUMMARY
The Sustainability Data & Reporting Program Manager supports the Corporate Services' organization for climate related measurement, management and reporting related to greenhouse gas (GHG). This individual is key to the Sustainability department delivery on program management, reporting, analysis, and relationship-building to reduce our carbon footprint which helps reduce the costs of operating our network, drive efficiencies and reduce emissions throughout the economy. With an intense focus on data integrity, process consistency and reporting accuracy, this role will deliver cost effective, operationally efficient, environmentally conscious and value-added sustainable reporting and practices within business operations. Serving as a key member of the Sustainability team, this position will perform work at the direction of the Manager, Sustainability Data & Reporting, and report to the Senior Director, Sustainability.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports GHG inventory data in various formats (Excel, PPT, dashboards) and breakouts (by scope, by goal / targets and by business division) as requested by Sustainability or internal teams
Supports cross-functional stakeholders responsible for collecting activity data, including data validation and surveys from site managers as appropriate
Consolidates reporting of emissions reductions initiatives across Scopes 1, 2, 3, including performing initial cross-checks for accuracy and completeness of the data and emissions factors applied
Supports process improvements, analysis, audits and reporting on GHG, climate and efficiency initiatives data collection methods
Research individual topics as requested on GHG protocol or climate data accounting methods, including benchmarking from available public / external reports (ESG reporting, SASB, CDP, TCFD)

Perform other duties as requested that support the success of Charter's Sustainability program

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: ability to consolidate tabs from different spreadsheets, use existing formulas and functionality such as VLOOKUP
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Experience using online content management and collaboration tools (i.e., SharePoint)
Familiarity and understanding of greenhouse gas emission accounting standards and guidelines (GHG Protocol) and sustainability reporting systems such as CDP

Education
Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental sciences or related field

Related Work Experience / Number of Years
Data analytics, research or related functional experience 3+
Sustainability or greenhouse gas / carbon accounting experience 2+

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Salesforce and/or Salesforce Net Zero Cloud
Knowledge of the telecommunications, technology and connectivity industries
Public accounting or consulting experience
