Research Associate- NGS

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Research Associate-NGS for a contract assignment with one of our premier Pharmaceutical clients in Santa Clara, CA.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct laboratory experiments and research studies
• Analyze and interpret experimental data
• Ensure compliance with research protocols and safety standards
• Document findings and prepare research reports
• Collaborate with scientific teams on study objectives

Required Skills:

• 2-5 years of experience
• Exp in Molecular biology- DNA extraction, Library prep and Next Gen Sequencing Automation
• Wet lab role will be doing NGS prep /library prep/instruments and will be nice to have Qc'ing of NGS and Instruments (Hamilton dispensing /luminous)
• Nice to have Statistical Analysis software- JMP or excel

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of industry best practices

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in clinical or laboratory research preferred
