Oracle EBS DBA Technical Consultant

We're on the lookout for a skilled Oracle EBS DBA with 6-8 years of experience to help manage and support our Oracle E-Business Suite and databases, mainly on AIX systems. You'll be handling things like database upgrades, performance tuning, security patches, and routine maintenance for Oracle Database 19c and EBS 12.2.9, with some exposure to Oracle Cloud tech being a big plus as we move toward SaaS. The role requires good troubleshooting and communication skills, and you should be flexible to jump in after hours if needed.

1. Manage and maintain Oracle Database 19c and EBS 12.2.9 environments, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.

2. Ensure database security and compliance while troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.

3. Support routine tasks like cloning, backup/recovery, and working in an AIX environment, with flexibility for after-hours support when needed.

1. 6-8 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, especially with Oracle EBS and Oracle Database 19c.

2. Strong knowledge of EBS 12.2.9, patching, upgrades, and AIX Unix systems.

3. Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and support after-hours when needed.
