Detailed Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) ERP Techno-Functional Consultant to support, enhance, and optimize our financial and project management processes within JD Edwards. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of financial and project modules combined with the technical expertise to develop, integrate, and automate JDE solutions that improve project costing, financial reporting, and construction project controls.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with Finance and Project Management teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective JDE solutions.
- Configure, implement, and support JDE Financial Modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA).
- Configure and support Project Management Modules such as Job Cost, Contract Billing, and Change Management.
- Develop and optimize reports, interfaces, and workflows to enhance financial visibility and project control.
- Support and manage integrations between JDE and allied systems, such as OCR tools, reporting platforms, and time & expense systems.
- Provide end-user support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user training.
- Collaborate with IT teams for enhancements, system upgrades, testing, and documentation.
- Ensure all JDE processes comply with financial controls, audit standards, and best practices.
- Continuously assess and improve system performance and user experience.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong Techno-Functional expertise in JD Edwards ERP (Enterprise One) focusing on Finance and Project Management modules.
- Hands-on experience in JDE configuration, CNC concepts, and report development (UBE, RDA).
- Good understanding of financial processes, costing structures, and project accounting principles.
- Experience with integrations involving OCR, BI/reporting, and external time-tracking or expense systems.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global delivery environment.
