Cashier

Duties:

Primary responsibility cashier transactions and Starbucks Barista responsibilities. Greet Guests and provide positive interactions in a friendly and courteous manner. Understand and actively utilize POS system entry of daily sales (accurately). Handling of cash, gift cards, vouchers, credit cards with accurate daily balance. Replenish and rotate front of the house items as listed on the duties list (Minor lifting required for some items). Maintain a clean and sanitized work area. Ability to handle intermittent high volume.

Skills:

Ability to make exact change on cash transactions. Ability to communicate in print and verbally to customers. Ability to make Starbucks drinks while following standardized recipes in an efficient manner. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Knowledge of all procedures with the Food Service Environment Ability to stand for a minimum of 1.5 hours per day for restocking and other necessary duties.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Valid California Food Handlers Card
