Job Details

We are seeking a skilled SAP CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management) Consultant/Analyst to join our team and support our client's trading, risk, and operations teams in optimizing their commodity trading lifecycle. This role requires expertise in CTRM platforms, business process understanding, and the ability to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document current trading, risk, and operations processes within CTRM systems

  • Configure and support the CTRM application (e.g., Allegro, Openlink Endur, Eka, Aspect, Trayport, SAP CTRM, etc.)

  • Collaborate with traders, risk managers, and operations teams to capture requirements and translate them into system enhancements

  • Design and deliver system customizations, interfaces, and reports

  • Work closely with IT and vendor teams for integration and implementation

  • Provide training, UAT support, and ongoing end-user support

  • Participate in CTRM upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with at least one CTRM system (e.g., Allegro, Endur, Eka, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of the full commodity trading lifecycle front office, middle office, and back office

  • Experience in commodities such as energy, power, gas, oil, agriculture, or metals

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including traders, IT, and operations

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior consulting or implementation experience with CTRM systems

  • Knowledge of risk management methodologies (VaR, MTM, P&L, etc.)

  • Experience with integration tools (e.g., APIs, ETRM-ERP interfaces)

  • Familiarity with SQL, .NET, Java, or similar technologies is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
