SAP Product Owner

Max rate is 55/hour on W2 with no benefits. This role is hybrid in Charlotte, they should be onsite Tues - Thurs.
As a Product Owner, you should be responsible for maximizing the value of the product that the team builds. You should work closely with the product teams, customers, & stakeholders to ensure the S4 Product meets our business's needs & expectations. You should also collaborate with other product owners, technical & functional resources, & business owners to align the product portfolio with the enterprise strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop & maintain deep expertise in the owned product area, serving as the primary source of knowledge & support for the broader project team & key stakeholders.
Learn a complex business & facilitate projects & decisions across disparate user groups.
Partner with the Product Manager to contribute to the product vision & strategic roadmap
Collaborate with the product management layer to thoroughly understand features for execution, ensuring they meet quality, performance, usability, & security standards.
Develop, scope, & define backlog items that guide the product team.
Create, manage, & validate user stories with the product team to ensure they meet the definition of being ready before each iteration.
Strong leadership & decision-making abilities with a focus on delivery business value & user - centric solutions.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Lead agile team to manage & prioritize the team backlog
Partner with Coaches to remove impediments for the Agile team & to model agile practices
Keep leadership up to date on team progress, risks, & impediments.
Function as primary liaison between vendors, cross-functional teams, field implementation, & business stakeholders
Provide quality advice on functionality & ensure well - thought - through analysis & deliverables.
Connect with the customer to validate design based on feature provided by product management team, execute system & solution demos, & ensure business value delivery
Assist the Product Manager with leading continuous improvement & best practice initiatives.
Develop strong business relationships, influence stakeholders, & partner with others to develop superior solutions.
Participate in the Safe Agile ceremonies, such as PI planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, etc.
Provide coaching & mentoring to the development teams on the Safe Agile principles & practices.
Coordinate with other product teams for solution validation testing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or computer sciences, preferred
3 - 5 years of Accounting/Finance experience preferred, preferably in customer - to - cash, procure to pay, or record - to - report value chains. Experience with SAP, specifically FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, AM, AP, AR, CO or PCA modules; S/4 HANA experience a plus. 3 - 5 years of experience as a Product Owner.
Strong knowledge & experience with the Scaled Agile Framework ( SAFe ).
Excellent communication, presentation, & interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical & non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to define & deliver products that meet customer needs & expectations & achieve business goals & objectives.
Strong analytical & facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate technical & process information effectively to business & IT stakeholders.
Experience with the tools & technologies, such as ADO & Miro.
Certification as a Safe Agile Product Owner or Safe Agile Practitioner is a plus.
Performs analysis & critical thinking required to troubleshoot application-related issues & assist in the resolution.
