Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team on a contract basis in Pleasant Grove, Utah. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing customer experience operations by creating, refining, and optimizing documentation for products and services across multiple platforms. This two-month contract offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your expertise in technical writing will directly contribute to the success of key projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and complete technical documentation for all products, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Redesign and improve the structure and layout of the company's knowledge base to enhance usability.
Implement documentation governance best practices to maintain content quality and consistency.
Create in-app guides using Pendo to support user navigation and understanding.
Produce detailed internal integration documentation for cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather necessary information and ensure content relevance.
Utilize content management systems, such as Confluence and SharePoint, to organize and maintain documentation.
Prioritize tasks effectively to meet aggressive deadlines within the two-month time frame.
Ensure scalability and future usability of all written content by considering long-term documentation needs.
Apply a user-focused approach to optimize the design and structure of technical documents.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, ideally within a SaaS environment.
Exceptional skills in writing, editing, and organizing complex information.
Proven ability to explain intricate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Experience working with content management systems like Confluence, SharePoint, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and fast-paced project environments.
Strong sense of ownership and ability to independently drive projects to completion.
Sharp attention to detail regarding user experience in documentation design and layout.
Effective collaboration skills to quickly obtain accurate information from cross-functional teams.
