Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Salary: $150k - $185k + 20% bonus
We are seeking a pragmatic, results-oriented Vice President of Technology to lead US technology operations, balancing hands-on execution with accountable leadership and proactive communication. The ideal candidate will combine a hands-on approach with strong ownership, executive maturity, and the ability to proactively coordinate with global teams across data management, system integration, and technology rationalization. They must be comfortable working directly with data, ensuring accuracy and synchronization across multiple sources, and have proven experience migrating users between systems while consolidating disparate technologies within an organization.
This role requires someone who can translate global technology and business priorities into local execution, supported by clear visibility, proactive stakeholder engagement, and timely escalation. Experience in franchising, printing, or shipping is a significant plus.

- Develop and execute a pragmatic and business-aligned technology strategy that prioritizes results over rigid frameworks.
- Provide hands-on leadership, taking ownership of issues end-to-end and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across local and global teams.
Project & Data Management:
- Oversee and directly support technology projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while proactively involving teams when cross-BU coordination is needed.
- Work directly with data, managing normalization, querying, integration, and synchronization across multiple systems.
- Ensure that data remains accurate, reliable, and actionable for business decisions.
System Migration & Technology Rationalization:
- Lead the migration of users from legacy systems to modern platforms with minimal disruption, ensuring alignment with Global Architecture and avoiding unnecessary local deviations.
- Identify, evaluate, and consolidate disparate systems to improve efficiency, reduce redundancy, and enhance business performance.
- Balance custom-built vs. off-the-shelf solutions, ensuring the best fit for long-term scalability and ease of maintenance.
Software Development & IT Infrastructure:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software and system requirements that directly align with business goals.
- Implement practical Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes to ensure efficient and scalable solutions.
- Oversee system administration, ensuring robust IT infrastructure, security and cloud service management.
Franchise & Operational Support:
- Leverage real-world experience in supporting distributed operations, particularly for franchises or multi-location businesses.
- Optimize technology support and tools to enhance franchisee efficiency and productivity.
Vendor & Budget Management:
- Manage vendor relationships with strong ownership, ensuring contracts, timelines, dependencies, and escalations are proactively handled.
- Rationalize IT spending by optimizing licensing, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
Security & Compliance:
- Ensure data integrity and security, implementing industry best practices for protection and compliance.
- Keep the organization ahead of regulatory requirements and security standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience leading technology initiatives in a hands-on, results-driven manner.
- Expertise in managing, integrating, and normalizing data across multiple sources.
- Experience migrating users across systems and consolidating technologies to streamline operations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to take ownership, anticipate issues, and provide clear, business-driven solutions supported by proactive communication.
- Experience with IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and security best practices.
- Comfortable rolling up sleeves when needed-this is not a purely strategic or hands-off role.
- Background in franchise, print, or shipping operations is a strong plus.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are a plus but not required.
