RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a CM in Davie, FL.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of roadway construction projects from pre-construction to final acceptance
* Serve as the technical expert for all construction engineering and inspection (CEI) tasks, ensuring compliance with FDOT standards, project specifications, and safety regulations
* Oversee contractor performance and field staff to ensure quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met
* Review and approve engineering design plans, construction documents, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
* Manage the implementation of construction phasing, erosion control, storm drainage systems, roadway alignments, and utility coordination
* Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, materials, and project progress; resolve field conflicts and design discrepancies
* Provide leadership in the preparation and review of project schedules, cost estimates, progress reports, and final close-out documentation
* Liaise with Tribal departments (Public Works, Environmental/Water Resource, Housing, Real Estate, Construction Management, etc.), BIA, and external agencies to ensure project alignment and permit compliance
* Develop and implement construction QA/QC protocols to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed technical expectations
* Support the training, mentoring, and development of junior engineers, inspectors, and construction managers within the department
* Maintain proactive communication with Tribal leadership, community members, and project stakeholders to address concerns and report on progress

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
* Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida strongly preferred
* Minimum 15 years of roadway construction engineering and inspection (CEI) experience, with demonstrated expertise in rural roadway projects
* Extensive knowledge of storm drainage systems, utility installation and coordination, and various pavement structures
* Strong understanding of FDOT standards, MUTCD guidelines, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
* Proven experience managing small and large-scale transportation infrastructure projects, including contract negotiation, change management, and contractor oversight
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and disciplines
* Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction inspection software
* Valid Florida Driver's License and willingness to travel across and project sites

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
